I've come '
undone
' too many times to count the unravelments. Art and humor has put me back together. Here you will find a sampling of things and ideas I've collected in an attempt to re-order, restructure or ridicule.

Recycled Bowling Lane Coffee Table
is right up my alley (by William Stranger)
Written In High School
I like to take old furniture and fix
The broken parts. I buy it second-hand
In stores where all the goods are marred with nicks.
I never buy the things which cannot stand
On two legs all alone. Replacing legs
Is just a bit beyond my grasp. Besides,
I wouldn't take a chair that sits and begs
To be redone. I like a chair that hides
Its worth behind a mask of dust and time
But knows no real success until I find
It hiding there and know it is sublime
And grand.) I've saved the power of this eye
To animate the chair I choose to buy.
(I wrote everything in sonnet form in High School).
